Each version of RAM Concept is self-contained, permitting multiple versions to be installed side-by-side on a workstation. However, if an engineer wants to utilize an older version of RAM Concept that utilizes a hardware lock (i.e. version 2.1 or earlier), then an older version of a licensing communication library will need to be used that supports hardware locks. This zip archive contains a copy of the licensing communication library along with two batch files to swap between this verison and the latest version. To use it, expand the zip archive, and move the HWLockDLL.dll file to the older RAM Concept installation directory. Then open each of the batch files in a text editor, and update the _oldHWLock variable on lines 14 and 17 to point to the older RAM Concept installation directory.
Before using the older version of RAM Concept, run the SwitchToOld batch file to use the old licensing communication library. Afterwards, run the SwitchToNew batch file to use the new licensing communication library again.
