    Problem Description

When trying to open a Ram Connection Stand-alone file version 10 (or earlier) the following errors occur:

Error: Connection "XX" does not exist"

Which will occur once for each joint in the file followed by:

Error: "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"

The error may also appear in the local operating system language, e.g. in Portuguese:

In some cases, the file may open without errors, but the errors above are produced when assigning the connection to the joint.

The error below may be produced when launching the Results Report for some of the connections in the model:

    Solution

The problem is corrected in Ram Connection version 11.0 and later.

For affected versions, go to Control Panel - Region (or Regional Settings) and click on Additional Settings...

This opens the Customize Format dialog. On the Numbers tab, make sure that the Decimal Symbol is set to period "." and the Digit grouping symbol is set to comma ","
