When you import an ISM repository into RAM Elements you may find that the beams are continuous and not segmented.
This is intentional as Ram Elements supports physical member modeling. Go to Process - Analyze Model - Finite Element Model tab and make sure the option to "Automatically segment physical members and shells" is turned on.
