06: Run, Stop and Search Scenarios

    Run Scenario:

User can select to Run or Execute Scenarios by clicking on the    “Run” scenario icon. If no Scenario is selected, or the Scenario is Queued or Processing, error messages are displayed.

User needs to select a Cluster to run the Scenario. The choices are the same as explained under Create New Scenarios section. Note that only Pending, Cancelled, and Failed scenarios may be run.

    Stop Scenario:

Users can stop a running or queued Scenario by clicking on the Stop icon . If any other type of scenario is selected and Stop icon is pressed, an error message will appear.

Can not stop a scenario which is not in progress.

Note that it takes anywhere between 30 to 45 seconds for a Stop request to be processed. Once processed the Scenario shows up as Cancelled in the Scenario List.

     Search Scenarios:

Scenarios may be searched by partial name (Contains) as shown:

Use Column headers to Sort, Filter and Hide/Unhide:

In any data table in Scenario Services Web UI, context menu in the column headers may be used to sort, filter, or show/hide columns. While Sort Ascending, Sort Descending and Filter options work on the specific column. Columns menu can be used to show or hide columns in the current table.
