    STAAD.Pro ISM Import Error from Network Drive

    When importing an ISM repository into a STAAD.Pro model located on a network drive you may receive the following error:

    Unable to connect to ‘STAAD.Pro’ instance (Path to the network drive location) Check if STAAD.Pro application is running.

    This error should not keep you from importing the repository. Dismiss the error message and continue to import the model into STAAD.Pro. If it does fail to import, please contact technical support.
