Structural Products Compatibility With 64 Bit Operating Systems [FAQ]

      Applies To

Product(s): Structural Products (RAM and STAAD)
      Version(s): V8i, CONNECT
      Area:  Installation
Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group

Are the Bentley Structural Products compatible with 64-bit operating systems?

We have confirmed that the V8i and CONNECT editions of RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Connection, RAM Concept, STAAD.Pro and STAAD Foundation Advanced will function on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8 or 10*. We no longer support Windows XP or Vista with the latest editions of our software, however.

Most of these products are available in either 32 bit or 64 bit architecture, where only a 32 bit version is available that version still fucntions correctly on a 64 bit operating system.
