How can I model intersection between two cylindrical surfaces using STAAD.Pro ?

There is no direct way of creating intersection between two cylinders in STAAD.Pro as the software does not support Boolean operations. However one can create such intersections between two cylinders modeled using plate elements, using a manual process as outlined in the wiki below
