Problem Description

For design as per AISC 360-05 or 10 codes, the MNZ and MNY are reported as 0 in the Steel Design tab within Member Query dialog box. This is a reporting error..

Steps to Reproduce

This problem affects models containing WT (tee) shapes and/or double-angles. To reproduce, follow these steps:
1. Open a model containing tees and double-angles (see attached file for example).
2. Makes sure these members are assigned the CHECK CODE command for code AISC 360-10.
3. Run the analysis.
4. Double-click on any one of the tee or double-angle member (e.g. member 26) to bring up the Member Query dialog box.
5. Click on the Steel Design tab.
6. You will find that MNY and MNZ (the allowable flexure in minor/major axes) are reported as "0".

.

Workaround

1. Assign the TRACK 2 parameter to the tees and double-angles.
2. Re-run the analysis.
3. Double-click on the same member as before to bring up the Member Query dialog box.
4. Go to the Steel Design tab, the MNY and MNZ are reported correctly.

Solution

The issue is addressed in 20.07.11.70.
