A "Failed to save document" error followed by a "Runtime error!" reported while creating a new model in STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition:
This only happens on some of the machines and quite rarely.
1. Close all instances of STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition2. Delete "C:\Users\<user profile name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition\Default\StaadPro21.00.00.ini"3. Copy "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition\StaadPro21.00.00.ini" to "C:\Users\<user profile name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition\Default\"4. Restart STAAD.Pro
Solution
The issue will be addressed in the upcoming STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition Update.
