Note: See RAM Concept Does Not Open for more information and an updated solution for this issue.
Original - With Ram Concept version 06.04.00.006 x64 or later installed on certain machines typically running Windows 7 x64, the program simply won't start. Clicking the desktop shortcut or Concept.exe causes the wait cursor to appear for a moment and then nothing happens.
In most cases, no error is presented. However, on at least one occasion the error below was displayed when attempting to launch the program.
This can happen even when the license is activated and when the prior version worked fine.
Update - A similar problem started in 2021 on machines with Windows 10 x64 and more recent versions of Ram Concept (e.g. version 8.02.00.146). In this case, when the program is launched from the desktop icon or by double clicking a file nothing happens at all.
The problem is with a graphics driver incompatibility with a 3rd party component used by Ram Concept called QT5.
