    Product(s): STAAD.Pro
    Version(s): CONNECT Edition
    Environment: ALL
    Area: STAAD.Pro Physical Modeler
    Subarea:
Original Author: Sye Chakraborty, Bentley Technical Support Group

When the Physical Modeling mode is launched, the following message is obtained and user is not able to get into the Physical Modeling mode. How can this problem be fixed ?

This issue has only been observed in a couple of machines. In case you run into an issue like this, please follow the workaround below

    1. Close out of STAAD.Pro.

    2. Using Windows Explorer, delete the file “user.config” from within the folder ( before deleting please keep a backup of the file and send the file to Bentley Technical support for further troubleshooting )

    C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Local\Bentley_Systems_Inc\SXP.exe_StrongName_fxqs5rvvw2xk1p5hc1z1hodpmbplqie2\1.0.0.0

where <User_Name> represents the Windows name for the user. For example for a user named John Doe, it could be John.Doe

    3. Start STAAD.Pro and try to access the Physical Modeler.
