RAM Connection CONNECT Edition V13 Update 7 Patch 1 (v13.7.1) Release Notes – Updated June 2022

This is a patch release (full installer) for RAM Connection v13.7.0 release.

Resolved Issues:

AS Base plate calculating fasteners shear capacity when a shear lug was defined. This capacity is no longer considered when a lug is defined to resist the shear.
AS Base plate shear lug weld showing a slightly different value than the one defined in the Connection Pad. There was an unnecessary units transformation for the variable introducing rounding errors.
IS Bolted end plate reporting zero capacities for a Class 4 Built-up beam sections. McRd is now properly calculate for all Built-up class sections.
AISC Single angle connection glitch with the use of the eccentricity for the calculation of the flexural yielding and flexural rupture capacities of the angle leg at the support side. This is fixed now and both capacities are calculated properly,
AS Directly welded plate reduction of the weld strength for compression load in the beam-to-gusset and column-to-gusset interfaces was fixed by effectively reducing the value for cases in which the HSS connector is not concentric.
AS Angle cleat incorrect ae distance calculation for bolts to supported member capacity. This is fixed now and ae is calculated properly for all cases.
AS and NZS column panel zone demands were not considering column limit states to determine the demands correctly.
NZS base plate anchor design factor for tension was modified according to the latest 2019 amendment.
AS Flange cover plate beam splice incorrect net area for inner plates. This is fixed now, and the net area is calculated correctly regardless the beam section shape.
