Yes beam section forces reported by STAAD.Pro for response spectrum load cases are accurate. This is because the software calculates these section forces at each intermediate section location within the beam for each mode. Subsequently it uses modal combination methods (like SRSS, CQC etc. ) to combine these results from the individual modes to generate the final values of the beam section forces at each intermediate section location for the response spectrum load case.
