    ADINA

    Automatic Dynamic Incremental Nonlinear Analysis

ADINA provides comprehensive linear and nonlinear finite element analysis of solids, structures, and fluids leading to greater safety, resiliency, and economy. ADINA has been trusted for over 30 years to solve problems across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, water and wastewater, mechanical, manufacturing, defense, automotive, aeronautical, maritime or biomedical, for instance.

In ADINA, structures, fluids and heat transfer can be combined to provide increased accuracy when this is required. Hence, it is possible to combine structures with fluids in fully coupled fluid-structure interaction analyses, couple the heat transfer with either structures or fluids, or even solve all three physics (structural, thermal and fluid) in one single thermal fluid-structure interaction model. Acoustics, pore pressure, electromagnetism and others are also supported, and can be included in full Multiphysics models.

    Analyze Multiple Element Types

ADINA includes a full finite element library providing an extensive toolbox for engineering analysis of structures, fluids and heat transfer. Examples are solid elements (2-D and 3-D), structural elements (truss, beam, pipe, cables, shells and membranes, plates), fluid elements (2D and 3D potential-based subsonic fluid elements), acoustic elements, and special purpose elements (and spring-mass-damper systems, alignment, connector, general).

Complete Pre- and Post- Processing Capabilities: ADINA User Interface

Fully interactive graphical user interface for all the modeling and post-processing tasks. Model geometry may be directly created, or imported from various CAD systems including those that support Parasolid. Analysis results can be viewed in the ADINA User Interface or saved in common output file formats.

    Fully Automatic Mesh Generation

Meshing for 3D elements including mapped meshing that generates brick, wedge, or mixed free-form tetrahedral elements, and general 3D meshing for solids and fluids.

Conduct 2D surface meshing for shells, plated, and 2D planar elements, and 1D elements such as truss, beam, and pipe.
