Stability and usability are also improved.
With this release of iTwin Analytical Synchronizer, REVIT interoperability is now included in iTwin Analytical workflows including new sidebar interface consistent with other iTwin enabled applications such as RAM, STAAD and OpenBuildings Designer.
New Cloud based synchronization in REVIT In addition to supporting traditional File (*.ism.dgn) based interoperability, REVIT users can now leverage cloud workflows and associated services such as Design Review and Issues Resolution.
The ISM Revit plugin itself is now packaged within iTwin Analytical Synchronizer 2023 installer; no separate download is necessary.
A more nuanced dedicated design review experience is created for the engineering professional conducting Analytical Design Review in the web browser. Previously, Analytical Design Review was only available for steel structures. Now, review of steel, concrete and Post Tension Tendons are supported.
Users with RAM Concept models with Post Tension Tendons can now participate in Analytical Design Review as well as the dedicated PT Profile review mode .
Key points (high and low points of the tendon profiles) are already displayed on screen of the selected tendon in the bottom profile view. See below for further features.
Previously, RAM Structural System models with Steel decks and joists elements would be filtered out during cloud synchronization process. Steel decks and joists are now supported in Cloud workflows. Within Analytical Design Review, Steel deck and joists are rendered as sheets and stick elements. Analytical Design Review now caters also for checking the designed properties of concrete elements.
Previously, long synchronization process can appear stalled or falsely reported as "complete". This has now been improved and rectified.
