Pushing Members from RAM Elements to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer

    Curve Member Objects

RAM Elements Members are pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Curve Member objects.

    Member Properties

RAM Elements Member Properties can be viewed for each Curve Member object in the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer.

    iTAS Curve Member Property

    RAM Elements Member Properties

    Load Resistance

All structural objects pushed from RAM Elements will automatically be defined as Gravity and Lateral in the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer.

    Placement Point

Correlates to the Cardinal Point assigned to each member in RAM Elements.

    Use

By default, all members parallel to the global Y axis are identified as columns. All other members are identified as beams.

    Member Fixity

Indicates the Hinges assigned to the ends of each member in RAM Elements.

    Material

Indicates the name of the Material assigned to each member in RAM Elements.

    Section

Indicates the name of the Section assigned to each member in RAM Elements.

    Material Properties

In RAM Elements, material properties are assigned to each member using the Materials Database. The steel material properties from the database are pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Steel objects.

    Section Properties

In RAM Elements, section properties are assigned to each member using the Sections Database. Standard steel sections are pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Table Section objects.

All other sections are pushed to the iTwin Analytical Synchronizer as Parametric Section objects.
