I am getting such error while trying to add an opening in the Parametric Models on the edge of the region. Why?

Paramteric Models is a powerful tool in STAAD.Pro which helps the user to create a mesh of some specific and complicated regions in a matter of seconds. It also allows adding opening of various shapes to the region which is being meshed. However, sometimes adding an opening could lead to the errors as shown above. These errors are usually reported if the opening is located at the edge of the region. This is a limitation of the Parametric Model feature as it expects that an opening is always inside the region, but not on the edge of it.

If you need to have some kind of opening on the edge of the region, you may create a several additional nodes of that opening and draw the external contour of the region by considering those nodes as shown below:
