How to avoid Duplicate data in .accdb file.

To avoid duplicate data in .accdb file, we can suggest the following to check in the analysis file.

  1. make sure that there are no duplicate levels present in the analysis file. 

        2. Please note in below Image,C33 is connected to the combined (lift) wall. the combined wall is modeled with a pier element and the column is a line element. 

If the column is connected to the combined wall, it is recommended to model the column also as a pier. in the above case, the column is modelled at the end of the wall which is not the actual case. The column is offset into the lift area. 

If you try to model the column as a pier element, it will not protrude inside the lift. You will get more feasibility in modelling to get the actual arrangement.

Even if the column is modelled as a pier element, RCDC will qualify it as a column as per the D/B ratio.
