In RAM Connection integrated within STAAD.Pro how to add or modify material database?

To modify material database in RAM connection integrated within STAAD.Pro we need to go to the below location in the system.

C:\Users\<USER.NAME>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro 2023\Default\RamConnection\Database

In that location you can find the below folders.

Now you can enter the material database if you want to add/modify this. Choose the country from the folders inside it and enter in that folder. Now you will be able to see some material tables in the folder like below.

You can open them using text editor and then add or edit the values. Please make sure to keep the same format when you are editing these files. Once done save and close. Now you will be able to get those newly added material in corresponding database.

In the same way you can add bolts, anchors, sections and welds in the database.
