Comprehensive Foundation Design Software

STAAD Foundation Advanced is a comprehensive foundation analysis and design software.

From STAAD Foundation Advanced 2023 version, it consists of a legacy version, known as SFA V9, and a new version, which has a fresh approach to the solution of foundation problems.  The legacy version has evolved over past two decades and can solve almost all types of foundations – isolated, combined, pile cap, mat, and plant foundations to a variety of international design codes. The new version has just begun its journey in 2023 and can currently address mat foundations to both ACI 318 2014 and ACI 318 2019.

Users installing STAAD Foundation Advanced 2023 and subsequent versions will, by default, install both STAAD Foundation Advanced 20xx (new version) and STAAD Foundation Advanced V9 (old version) and will be able to find shortcut icons corresponding to both the versions on their desktop.

The user can add value to their daily workflow by using one or both the components to analyze and design foundations.
