I want to use GRADE 450 for truss members in my project but the built in template is for 350 grade and 300.

and I’m trying to find physical properties for grade 450 but can’t find it.

can you tell me how to change grade in Microstran and assign it to member.

Answer:

Only the grades actually available for the selected section types are shown. If you do not want one of the listed grades, select “Fy =” and enter the yield stress and the ultimate tensile stress in the edit boxes.

If it is for Material, select a material from a library you only need to specify the name of the library and the name of the material.
