I have isolated a certain group of plates in my structure in a new view and have been reviewing the contour of the plate stress. Why the contour value of the plates is not matching with the plates actual center stress summary?

 

The contour values shown in the screenshot above are based on the stresses of a whole structure. In order to see the stresses of the plates which are actually shown on the screen, one needs to select the 'Contour Based on Visible Entities Only' option in the Contour settings as shown below:
