Verification For Effective Length Factor (Ky, Kz) Calculation

• STAAD.Pro calculates the effective length factors of a set of members using buckling analysis formulation as per AISC 360 Appendix 7 guidelines.
• Ly is buckling length about local Y axis
• Lz is Buckling length about local Z axis.
• The verification is done for two type of support conditions. Fixed Support and Pinned Support
• The verification is also done for Braced and Unbraced Condition.
