Question:

I am facing with STAAD analysis and design. I have noticed that the STAAD run takes much longer when the file is stored in the server than when it is saved in the local folder. This is affecting my productivity and efficiency.

Answer:

Follow the steps given below:

1) Open STAAD.Pro

2) Go to Configure--> Click on Options

3) Keep a tick on the Temporary File Location 

4) Browse the file that is kept in the temp location and now you can use the file.
