Duplicate records of Column forces in mdb file.

Question:

We are unable to run rcdx file as we are having issue when we proceed with designing of walls. It doesn’t design concrete elements. Even when we select 2-3 walls, it crashes.

Solution:

After investigating the crash issue we found that duplicate records of Column forces for C14 and C15 is found. Refer below image for better understanding of what we wrote above:

We observe that this is happening for levels up to Level 35. 

We suggest that. 

  1. Separately export just the Column Forces table from ETABS.
  2. From the current MDB file, delete just the column forces table and finally. 
  3. Import the newly created MDB of Column forces into this existing MDB file.

*Note: Before performing steps 2 and 3 mentioned above, please re-check that there is no duplicate record for Column forces at any level.
