Beginning in InRoads version 08.11.07.566 there are no *.lck files for the geometry project. The functionality of “locking the file” is now held in the ALG file itself. Previously, to manually unlock an ALG file, you would delete the *.lck file from the project folder. In version 08.11.07.566 the solution is to hold down the CTRL key and select the Free button. This change was implemented so that ANY user could unlock a file locked by any other user even if they didn’t have access to that user’s folder with the *.lck file.
