Automated Transverse features

This has been implemented for InRoads V8i SELECTseries 2 release.

Until then, you can use the Draw Slope Direction Pattern command under the Drafting menu.

That was great news about SS2. Until then I stick to my old method, im using AutoCAD and have developed a swifter solution for BatterTicks with AutoCAD.

Is there any release date for SS2?

5 years latter... Select Series 4 release and still we need to use Draw Slope Direction Pattern? It is even worse, this tool works with 3D graphic (interactive mode) or with Feature Styles and not Feature Definition. So if we want to automate drafting process we need to create terrain model from our corridor and than export it to DTM....

32 long highway, 4 intrechanges, 3 types of ditches, berms, benching, noiseprotection embankments - and Draw Slope Direction Pattern. It would be really nice to do it from itl template level. Templates with End Conditions are powerfull tool. A toggle switch to mark points to draw slope direction patterns sounds easy to be implemented.

And please, Bently Colleagues do not log CR for that. Over last ten years I requested that at least few times. And like 5 years ago a peer posted similar request and was informed that it was about to be released with SS2. Any serious plans to implemnt that soon?

Hello Adam,

I don't know InRoads and its command "Draw Slope Direction Pattern".

There is an external MDL tool "Place Slope" available, which works directly on Microstation. Could this be helpful for you?
