We are pleased to announce the release of OpenRoads and OpenRail ConceptStation CONNECT Edition (Update 8).

  • Add links to elements stored within ProjectWise
  • Component Builder to allow import of furniture (objects) from various data sources
  • Support for Component Center upload functionality (Furniture needs to be added)
  • Place Road tool can now be used to continue an existing road
  • Place Road tool’s dynamic graphics will now render with transparency
  • Users can now delete multiple PVIs simultaneously in the Profile View
  • Roadways that cross over a selected alignment in the Profile View now have tooltips displaying their names
  • Support of legacy geographic coordinate systems
  • Add a Properties dialog for geographic coordinate systems
  • Retaining walls can have their material set to 'rock' with no changes to cost
  • Allow creation of template with no lane striping
  • Allow modification to pier footing elevation
