Modeling ramps and gore areas can be challenging and even more so depending upon the complexity of the horizontal, vertical, and cross sectional requirements. This OpenRoads Special Interest Group virtual workshop will demonstrate a variety of techniques that can be used to efficiently design and model ramps and gore areas. You will learn how to:

   • Use OpenRoads Designer Geometry and Terrain Modeling tools to model ramp gore areas
   • Utilize OpenRoads Designer Templates and Corridors to model ramp gore areas
   • Display ramp take-off profiles from the 3D Model
   • Apply templates to establish the “ideal” ramp profile based on rollover requirements

This session is complimentary and open to all Bentley users! One learning unit is applied to each participant’s Bentley Transcript for self-reporting. To view recordings from previous SIGs, visit the SIG Learning Path or check out videos from 2020.
