Is it just me, or is 2021 R2 excruciatingly slow? I was very anxious to install it, as it looked like it will fix a lot of the issues I am running into with 2021 R1. However, I quickly reverted back to 2021 R1 after experiencing extremely slow behavior - when simply opening the program and also when performing even simple tasks that were a lot faster in 2021 R1. I first tried an "update" install. It was super slow, so I tried a clean install after uninstalling ORD 2021 R1 and following the instructions in this link (https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/52791/uninstall-process-for-openroads-designer). It was still painfully slow. As of now I reverted back to ORD 2021 R1.
We have not had any other similar reports come through the support group, so it could be isolated. I see you filed an SR, so that will be best to troubleshoot with a support analyst.
Hi Josh, its weird - it was also happening to me for the first few DGNs i opened, but the issue looks to have resolved itself after a restart.
Regards,
Mark

Hmm. I've restarted quite a few times, especially after uninstalls and reinstalls. Perhaps I didn't work with it long enough. I've got a deadline to meet soon. I'll have to debug later.
Have you tried deleting your preferences? Both ORD and the .UPF.
Yes. That's always my first step when things aren't working. That didn't seem to affect anything.
