As part of the engineering drawings I need to create embankment lines (some times called piano lines or frog lines). How do I do this via the templates in open Roads.
this is what they should look like for cut and fill:
HI Martin
Can you just let us know which native civil product you are using Inroads, MX or Geopak
Thanks

Simon beat me to asking which native product you are using, but I wanted to go ahead and give you an answer if working with InRoads. There is a tool under the native commands (Drafting > Draw Slope Direction Pattern) which will give this graphical output.

To complement Chris' answer, if you're in MX they are called slope signature strings.
You can create them under Modify>Edit Strings>Add Slope Signature Strings, and there is a Wiki Article which goes in to a bit more details.

My guess is you're using InRoads though :-)
Hi, sorry should have told you the software. I am using SS3 Geopak Civil Suite in Microstation SS3!
Hi all, any answers?
If the query relates to showing the slope indicators in the OpenRoads design rather then the native product then the answer is that this isn't possible at the moment but an enhancement has been requested to have this added.
Thanks for your response. When will we see this enhancement?
Secondly what would the process be to generate this in the native product as everything sits in OpenRoads?
