It happened a few times that a 3d model changed (for example from default_3D to default_3D1) or that a 3D model became corrupt. Is it in this kind of cases possible to change (and as an option rebuild) the coppled 3D model by another/new one?

Can you please tell me the product name and 9-digit version number of the product(s) you are using? Also, please provide a workflow that would result in the change of the model.
Hi Jacquelyn,
This happens in all released PowerCivil versions with OpenRoads tools in it. The workflow is different each time. Many often the workflow is: PowerCivil crashes (this happens regularly when working with big files) and a new 3D file is shown after PowerCivil is restarted.
This does not only happens in PowerCivil. Today I saw a tutorial from Ballesta Consultancy on Youtube where it also happens in MX. You can see this on 4:22.
I've also seen a Default_3D-1 model created. This also happens if you add a profile to an element, and then hit "undo', and then re-create the profile. We've found a good rule of them is to not use the "undo" button and just delete the elements/3D elements.
ajs, I am not able to reproduce this problem. Can you provide data and a workflow to reproduce this problem? If I can reproduce this issue, I will log a defect.
