Hello i am usin Inroads V8i select series 2, and i want to import a survey data .csv . But when i go to File > Import > Survey Data it is missing , i havent any Survey data button as in the tutorial . Can you help me ? Thank you .
We have combined all the Text Import options into the Text Import Wizard. This includes Surface, Geometry, and Survey data imports. Go to File > Text Import Wizard and you will get the wizard to import text files. You can select the Data Type as Survey Data.
Once you go through the wizard, you can save the wizard format if you use this same type of csv file for importing survey data. then you will not go through the wizard each time, but instead select the saved format name and it will import the file using the same wettings.

aha thanks . Now in Text import wizard , in Data Type i see only this options : surface, horizontal alighments , horizontal event point , horizontal regresion point , vertical alignment , vertical event points , cogo points ... stil no survey data .
Can you post me a full TEXT IMPORT WIZARD tutorial with all its tricks and commands ? Thank you .
It sounds to me like you have regular InRoads open without Survey. You need to open either InRoads Survey, or InRoads Suite. Another option is to go to Tools> Product Add Ins> InRoadsSurvey. Check your licensing.
