If I have an existing conditions survey that was assembled using terrestrial point data with point codes and feature definitions (to create point list linear features and an existing terrain model), how can I target the resulting linear features (E_Road_Edge_Pave) in the corridor template points using the Horizontal Feature Constraint option?? The existing surface is referenced into the corridor dgn. Two things (at least) I don't understand about this situation. 1: Can I target feature definitions that are located in a referenced civil model?? 2: Can I target Survey Feature definitions??
Thanks in advance!!
I still haven't had any luck, I've attached a pdf with some screen shots showing the existing pavement survey linear feature that I'm trying to target with the corridor template horizontal feature constraint. I've tried copying the same feature definitions from the survey file into the corridor file, but I'm not having any favorable results.
After you have created the corridor with your template you need to add the E Road LaneEdges elements to the corridor as Corridor references as below.
The corridor will update and the features will follow the horizontal constraints.

Thanks for the response, that helped. After adding the lines as corridor references, I was able to get the horizontal constraint to target the survey feature by using the survey feature alpha code instead of the feature definition's name ("LN" instead of "E_Road_LaneEdge"). I'm not sure if this is how this should work by design, but it does work. Thanks for the help!
