Hello,
I am using Geopak 08.11.09.722 Civil Tools --> Corridor Modeling to view and create cross sections. Using the view cross section tool, all Microstation meshes, solids, and surfaces in the 3d file appear in the cross section model view. Using the create cross sections tool, none of these show up, only the corridors or terrain models. Is this the correct behavior? How do I get other 3d modeled items, such as 3d Geopak Drainage nodes and pipes to appear in the cut cross sections.
Thanks
Rick
I am using InRoads SS4 08.11.09.878 and want to know if this issue has been resolved. I am having a similar issue: 3D line strings show up in the dynamic view but not in static cross sections. What is allowable at this point?
Errick,
Thank you for posting your question. To get everything to show up in the cross section view there are a couple of extra steps. I made a training video for OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition here:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/35957/video-setting-up-3d-linestyles-for-display-in-plan-3d-cross-section
Now I know you are asking about SS4. The process is going to be essentially the same. You will have to make a cell to see this show up in the plotted cross sections and place that cell when doing the annotation. When we slice a custom 3D linestyle, there is not currently a way to make this show up in the plotted sections. So by making a cell the same dimensions as the linestyle, we can super impose that cell at the same position as the 3D linear feature.
HTH,
