Is there a configuration variable for our .xml survey styles, or do we have to load it every time before importing points/data?
I've set it to point to the correct .xml, but it does not load on startup. I am still forced to load it manually.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Note sure what this means. If the CIVIL_SURVEY_STYLEFILE variable is defined to point to an XIN file... this seems reasonable, but what is does the part about "must still run the Link Survey Feature Definitions". I am confused. What is the Variable Doing? Also there are instruction in the Survey Documentation to link the Survey Feature Definitions in a DGNLIB file. But I have done this and I as you state "still must run the Link Survey Feature Definitions command" in each and every DGN file that gets survey imported into it. So what is the DGNLIB doing and what is the config variable doing? Not only that but each and every time I open a DGN with survey data loaded into it I must re link the survey features, and the DGN even actually props me to link a survey feature definition XIM or XML file.
