Jean, sorry. First go to Tools > Customize, and then once you are in 'Customize-mode' ... then right-click on the tool and "Reset to Default".

Right-click on the icon itself gives me 2 options: Locks and Customize. Customize brings me to the Tools>Customize dialog box. No specific reset there!

Jean, have you right-clicked on the Icon itself on the toolbar or menu. Not selecting the toolbar and doing a 'Reset' on the Tools > Customize dialog. Do it directly on the specific tool icon on the toolbar. That's the only way I've ever been able to restore the correct image.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem :)
The Tools>Customize right-click 'Reset' brings no solution, nor did 'Reset All'.
I doubt the Registry entry to be on the basis of this problem. I've de-installed Microstation and Inroads several times whit each time a thorough clean-up of all Bentley instances in the Registry. It comes back after each new installation.
Even PowerInroads was never installed on my computer and after the first installation this mixed-up icons pop-up.
Could my HP-Z400 be the problem? Bios-update? Or Graphic card driver?

Hi Jean! I've seen this several times before, and have experienced it myself quite a lot over the years on both Custom Toolbars as well as the standard ones. It usually crops up when moving to a newer version of the software, or after installing a patch. And more than likely has something to do with a new tool being added, or one being removed. Someone may have a 'global' fix for this, but I always find myself going to Tools > Customize and doing a right-click 'Reset' on each individual tool on the toolbar. The 'Reset All' never worked for me in the past. There's probably a Registry entry somewhere that needs to be cleaned up, but I've never spent the time to hunt it down. I highly doubt that it has anything to do with the XIN or even the Workspace.
