What does the .. ideally represent in ..\Bentley\WorkSpace\Projects\Examples\Bentley-Civil-Imperial.pcf?

In my configuration, I had to run "dir /s /b *.pcf" on the command line. I found Workspace\Projects\Examples\ in a different tree, one that has no mention of Bentley.

Further, the exact pcf you'll need to include these lines in is found at _USTN_PROJECTCFG. By default, variables like this are hidden. The best way I've found to access _USTN_ variables is communities.bentley.com/.../256151. W. Bradshaw

When you get a message like "Too many elements..." for horizontal and / or vertical it will not import those geometries period. This check is independent of the design rule checks.

In the ..\Bentley\WorkSpace\Projects\Examples\Bentley-Civil-Imperial.pcf you will find the following lines:

#----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Allows the user to relax the number of adjacent linear elements.
# If this is set to false or undefined then the maximum number of adjacent lines is 20.
# To remove the limit, set to 1. Set to 0 to maintain limits.
# CIVIL_RELAX_NUMBER_OF_LINEARS = 1
# Allows the user to relax the total number of elements (i.e. lines + arcs).
# If this is set to false or undefined then the maximum number of total elements is 250.
# To remove the limit, set to 1. Set to 0 to maintain limits.
# CIVIL_RELAX_NUMBER_OF_ELEMENTS_FOR_RULES = 1
# CIVIL_RELAX_NUMBER_OF_ELEMENTS_ON_IMPORT = 1

You want to uncomment CIVIL_RELAX_NUMBER_OF_ELEMENTS_ON_IMPORT to get around the 1000 element limit.

The verticals are comprised with many PVI points. The project is for a full depth reconstructed Median by utilizing existing pavement edges where I need to raise the existing edges by 2.5" and match existing cross-slope for an overlay adjacent to the Median. The elevations of the Median barrier were hand calculated due to shoulder rollover values. The elevations or PVI's were calculated every 10'. This is the only way that I could control the modeling process in SS2.
