[Inroads SS3 *.674] No auto-attach to 3D when referencing terrain model.

Hi.

I am working with corridor modelling based on a 2D seed file. When I am referencing a terrain model into the 2D model it does not get auto attached to the 3D model.

After the initial post I found a "workaround". This workaround can be seen in the second uploaded video clip. If I detach the terrain model and then undo it will be displayed in 3D. All tests were done in Example workspace with files delivered by Bentley.

I've done a test here following that process and I've been able to get it to work correctly first time as shown in the video, however I'm testing it using the 08.11.09.722 release.

There is another way to get the Default-3D model created in the 2D seed file and that is to create geometry with a vertical profile.

Hi, thanks for testing.

If the 3D model already exists there is no problem getting the auto-attachment in 3D. I guess I will have to model some dummy geometry to create the 3D model as a workaround.
Is .722 released yet? I will try to come back to this thread when we have upgraded.
