I am having a similar problem with PowerInRoads. In the past, I could installs PowerInRoads Ss2 and Ss3 on the same machine. But ss4 said I must remove a previously installed version. So I removed Ss3 and the erro message I got was an error 1603 (or was it 1602?) which is supposed to be telling me that an earlier installed version must be uninstalled first. Well, due to client requirements, I cannot stop using the SS2 version, so if I can't install Ss4 and leave Ss2 available, then Ss4 is not an option for me.
