Using SS4
I successfully placed a civil cell in my design. I then deleted it using the fly-out menu from the civil cell.
Upon returning to the drawing and trying to place another civil cell I get the following dialog/message (which will not stay closed) and then Power InRoads has to be closed using task manager..
"Civil Cell is invalid and cannot be placed"
Any Ideas on how to resolve this? No evidence of the civil cell shows up in Project Explorer. I opened/closed/compressed the file, etc.
Thanks, Ron
A change to elements the civil cell was based on, i.e. a linear template was revised, can cause this to happen to the Civil Cell. The wiki article below details how to deal with this.
Civil Cell: Valid for Placement Setting
Thanks for the information but this is not the case. The workflow is that I placed a delivered civil cell (Basic-t), deleted it and tried to place it a second time (without any modifications to it). The instant I pick 'place civil cell', the error dialog opens. I have to close my session with task manager. I'm unable to get back to utilizing civil cells in my DGN file.
