Input file to read hand drawn shapes in XSC file and use average end method to generate log file with Volumes

I need an input file that will basically go through each XSC and search for a shape on a specified level, get the area of that shape and put it into a log file. Very similar to running earthwork even more simple actually. This project was done before Corridor modeler/open roads was being utilized. I have several hundred XSCs where somebody manually came up with pavement shapes for a special pavement detail we have. Otherwise I will have to go xsc by xsc measure the shape and manually put it in a spreadsheet.
