Copy a corridor on a new dgn file

Question

I have several corridors in a dgn file. 
 Another dgn file with the Geometry and another with superelevations are references. 
 It&acute;s possible copy in a new dgn file one of those corridors , maintaining all rules and without losing the corridor&acute;s objets? 
 In other words, How I can copy a corridor and corridors objects in a new dgn file. 
 Thank you very much.

Due to the many possible ways a Corridor can be organized, in many cases linking to other dgns and corridors/linework in its active environment, I'd say there is little chance this will be an option. If this were to be an option, it would still require an intimate understanding of every corridor object and would require almost the same workflow/finesse as copying the DGN and removing all other corridors. Depending on the situation and complexity, it may be easier to rebuild the desired corridor and utilizing the export parametrics (one reason why I prefer parametrics). A skilled designer familiar with how things are setup will prefer one method over another (whether to remove the other corridors or rebuild in a new dgn). This problem arises often - many times the file becomes too large/cumbersome or simply require more hands on deck at crunch time. Due to this limitation and requirement of upfront planning, I recommend breaking out areas of the design into multiple dgns to keep each file less than 10mb. Sometimes these are natural breaks (intersections/ interchange) and other times simply a mile or so limitation to each file. Also keep in mind, size of the survey ground (tin/terrain) will also dictate how that affects the performance of the dgn. I also recommend clipping larger existing surfaces down to near limits of your corridors.
