Is there a way to convert a SUE model back to a dtm so crossings on utilities can be displayed on profiles created with using InRoads SS2?
I created a suda model in a 2d file. Â It automatically created the 3d model, but I can't figure out how to generate 3d lines to use for creation of a dtm. Â I have lines in the 2d file at elevation 0, but I need 3d lines to generate a utility dtm. Â When I open the 3d model I see 3d elements but they aren't line segments that can be used as features for importing.
Please let me know how I can generate 3d line segments from a suda model.
The line strings are generated automatically, but only in version V8i Select Series 4. Notice in the image below, there is a line string which is coincident with the conduit. I made the line string red and heavy weight for visibility. In the normal case these will be same color and weight as the conduit so they are somewhat invisible. Simply select the line strings, make an OpenRoads terrain model and export to DTM.
