Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to check a sight distance on vertical curve for varying (for different design speed) height of source (eye) and target (obstacle)?

If there's a better workflow, I don't know of it at the moment. You may have already considered this route but you're looking for a more sophisticated tool, but here goes:
It might work to make copies of your profile and elevate them the appropriate amount--one elevation for the eye and one for the obstacle. Then maybe draw some vertical lines that are separated by the stopping sight distance. Move these together longitudinally on your profile. Where you suspect a problem, draw from the obstacle's location (with appropriate vertical offset) and the eye's location (with appropriate vertical offset) and see if it crosses the roadway profile.
It's a rather low-tech solution, and like I said, there might be a better way to handle this, but this is how I would do it today with my existing experience, and as such, I'm interested in hearing those myself. Sorry. HTH
