We've been hearing from numerous users and Consultants about a triangulation problem where it appears random breaklines are not triangulated to in PowerGEOPAK SS3. Most of the people agree they can change the Terrain Model Attribute back and forth to get it to triangulate, but it doesn't always seem to work. On top of that it seems that as you do editing, other breaklines can lose their triangulation. Closing the file and re-opening can make lines lose the triangulation as well. I'm attaching a file in which I've been able to reproduce this consistently. A Consultant sent me this file after doing some edits, the breaklines I reference have been manually added through the Field Book.
Down towards the lower right is a red circle around BRK 17 and BRK 15. Currently BRK 17 is not being triangulated to. Triangles go to the end points, but also cross through the breakline. BRK 15 is triangulated to. If I change one of the link codes on BRK 17 the Terrain model updates and triangulates to BRK 17, but BRK 15 loses it's triangles. This appears to be very random. These lines all happen to be small, 2 point breaklines- but the Consultant said it was happening on the larger breaklines as well. Can anyone shed some light on this for us?
Thanks,
Jeremy Keller

Here is a file that came to us today with the same problem. I wasn't able to reproduce this from the raw data, and have been letting people know that we need to know the steps taken to cause this. I know the raw data was imported and they began some editing when they saw this. 122549_3dbackup.dgn
