Import Station/Offset locations to generate cogo points (V8i-SS3 with Inroads SS2)

In the past, we created a script file containing SO=[station,+/-offset] for each point. Then you run the script file using @scriptfilename at the command prompt. We use to put them in a C:\Temp folder and keep the filenames using 8.3 filenames as long paths and filenames often prove problematic.
Also, I believe you could do it with an ICS file (Cogo Classic) Locate From Alignment command.

Yep... I agree with Jody ... Text Import Wizard with the Data Type set to Events is the way to go.,

Yes this works. By setting the type to horizontal event points it does import the locations. Then using the horizontal annotation set to events, it does in fact bring the points in (making sure the correct alignment is active first).
