Strange Component results in Cross-Sections

InRoads SS2, Microstation SS3,

I have a component that is wall section. the component is set for exclude from triangulation and is a closed shape. I have a end condition on the inside of the wall that is just a straight down fill. I want the bottom of wall to extend 2 feet beyond the OG touchdown. The area is all fill and needs to avoid some constraints such as wetlands...etc.. Everything in the Template Library and Roadway Designer looks great, except when I cut sections. Below is screen capture. the component was originally imported from Microstation, that didn't work so I recreated it the old fashion way. The component is fully constrained. The green line is the Fill end condition offset .001' to make a vertical face.

Do you have the wall component as a child of the Fill end condition which is the near-vertical face EC? Do you have the points of the component constrained to the end condition as well so as it solved deeper or shallower, the component extends with it? You said that it is a closed shape component but this has an odd break in the component so we may need to look at the issue with you.

Since this is occurring to a component and not the surface gradeline, I wouldn't suspect anything like an odd station or interpolation so I don't think the Roadway Designer > Create Surface > Add Transverse Features toggle will help but this is something we can keep in mind.

Can you attach your data in a zip file so we can take a look at the issue? I would like your DTM, ALG, XIN, and IRD.

Chris, I will try as you suggested. I suspect I will get the same results because I tried this before thinking if the end condition was tied down to the wall face all should be well. I will send you my data set at your email address, Thanks
