Cannot see Curve details of Horizontal alignment

Question

I have imported a string from MX as openroads alignment. When selecting an alignment, the civil rules along with markers to modify the alignment appear. When selecting this particular alignment the civil rules and markers are displayed for short elements. The details are not shown for long elements( they are displayed at particular zoom/positioning on the . When i break the alignment in to elements the civil rules and markers are visible for all elements. What is to be done to rectify the problem ?

The available manipulators are zoom sensitive and as you zoom in you see an appropriate level of detail / manipulators for visible elements. This is based on a ratio of the element size compared with the overall length of alignment and is tied into the current view limits / the element being more than 50% visible in the display. This is working as intended and the parameters controlling this are not currently are not currently user definable. 
 
The only workaround is to zoom and pan for now.
