Control Editor

Hello,

I have uploaded a few datasets from .raw files into a drawing only to realize a few of the control coordinates I used to import the data needed to be adjusted. Is there a way using control editor, or something like it, to adjust the topo data and linework I already have in the drawing to match the adjusted controls?

You would adjust the control file and rerun the least square adjustment (Reduce Survey) This would adjust all the raw files appropriately. Then it would reimport the points and chains into the GPK and remap the survey.

So I used control editor to modify one of my control points as a test, then I used the adjustment method of Network Least Squares while using reduce. But nothing happened, nothing changed at all. Can you think of a reason why?

The reduce portion will create the XYZ file. The XYZ file or adjusted coordinates is what will be imported into the GPK file. If you do not have the option turned on to auto import to GPK then import it manually under the dataset pull down menu in the Survey Menu.

Yes I have the auto import option checked, and I have unvisualized and revisualized my data, but still nothing changes. I don't mean to take up too much of your time, but have you ever heard of a time when this procedure wouldn't work? Because I had similar thoughts when I first tried to tackle this problem.

Do the XYZ (Adjusted Coordinates) match the coordinates in the GPK file? Do the GPK file coordinates match the coordinates in the DGN? if so then everything is ok or the data is not adjusting during the reduce.
